Privacy Policy

What MatchSight processes

Guests can browse football information without creating an account. The app stores followed teams and competitions, saved matches, language, appearance, and other preferences on the device. Match and competition data come from football-data.org through our Supabase Edge Functions; responses may also be cached on the device and our server.

If you sign in, Supabase Auth processes your email address or Google sign-in identity, user ID, and session information. We store a profile name when supplied by the sign-in provider. If you enable alerts, Firebase Cloud Messaging provides a device token; we store that token, selected alert types, language, delivery status, and, when signed in, the associated user ID. Firebase App Check processes app attestation signals. We do not currently use an analytics or crash-reporting service in the app.

Subscriptions and purchases are not currently enabled. If introduced, a verified entitlement may be linked to your account, including plan, product ID, status, purchase-token hash, and verification dates. This policy will be updated before paid purchases are offered.

Why and with whom

We use this data to provide fixtures, saved choices, sign-in, alerts, service security, and support. Supabase hosts our authentication, database, and functions; Firebase delivers opted-in notifications and App Check signals; football-data.org supplies football records. Google handles Google sign-in when chosen. We do not sell personal data.

Security and retention

App requests use HTTPS. Provider and administrative credentials stay on the server. Device preferences remain until cleared in the app or Android settings, or until the app is uninstalled. Account records and account-linked notification records remain while the account exists, then are deleted through the account-deletion process. Some technical backups or records needed by service providers or law may persist for a limited period under their policies; contact us for a specific request. Server football caches are not linked to an account.

Your choices

You can browse as a guest, turn off notifications, remove favorites, sign out, or request account deletion. See Account & Data Deletion. For access or correction requests, email Harriselmac@gmail.com. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
